Editing a storyboard script used to mean copying and pasting individual script lines into each frame. This could quickly become time consuming. Now, thanks to our filterable Script Editor, you can edit your script and your storyboard in one, easy to use view! Scripting for storyboards has never been simpler.
We’ve been putting the Script Editor through it’s paces together with some of the amazing members of the Boords community, and they’ve been instrumental in helping shape it. We really can’t thank them enough! It’s been great to see the Script Editor making workflows smoother. Motion Designer and Animator Tim Goodspeed had this to say:
No more line by line copy and paste. Once the storyboard and script are approved, I export the voiceover for the VO talent. Really nice, so easy and so convenient to have all this information in one place.
The Script Editor is available to use from today on all Boords plans. To access it, just click the Script / Commenting icon in the top right of any of your storyboards. If you’d like to know more, you can read more about the Script Editor in our help docs. And as always, we’d love to hear what you think! Just let us know via the in-app chat icon, or leave a message in the comments.
