Open Boords in Claude's connector directory, click Connect, sign in to Boords and approve access. You can also start from Settings, Team, Connections in Boords and click Add to Claude.
Every Boords plan, Free included, at no extra cost while connections are in beta. Claude works within your plan, so on Free it has the same storyboard, frame and script limits you have in the app.
An Owner or Primary Owner enables Boords for your organisation in Claude's connector settings first, and members can click Request on the listing to ask for it. Each person then connects their own Boords account. If your organisation blocks directory connectors, an Owner can add Boords as a custom connector with the server URL https://app.boords.com/mcp.
No. You sign in to Boords from Claude and approve access once, and the connection runs on your own account. API keys are for the Boords API, not for Claude.
Claude sees what you can, across every team you belong to. Making changes needs an Owner, Admin or Full access role, and reading comments needs Owner or Admin. Restricted members and guests can read but not edit through Claude, and anything destructive needs an explicit confirmation.
No. Claude can attach images to frames, including ones made with another tool, but Boords' own image generation, restyling and styles are only in the app.
Yes. Run claude mcp add boords --scope user --transport http https://app.boords.com/mcp, then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose boords and Authenticate.
Boords only returns what Claude asks for, when you ask it, over the connection you approved. What Claude then does with that data depends on your plan and settings with Anthropic, so check those if your clients have strict terms.
Go to Settings, Team, Connections in Boords and click Disconnect next to Claude. Access stops immediately.
