Send the AV script for sign-off in Word

Export a script from Boords as a .docx, with its AV tables, scene word counts and runtimes intact. Clients, legal and voice talent mark it up in the tool they already use.

Script Word export is on paid plans and free trials.

The AV script, ready to mark up

Write and time the script in Boords, then export the version you want approved. Scenes, voiceover and visuals arrive in Word as one clean table.

The AV script as a .docx, with a comment added in Word by the client’s legal team.
Your column names
Each AV block becomes a table with Scene, Audio / Voiceover and Visual columns, under your own labels if you renamed them.
Timing on every scene
Each scene shows its voiceover word count and runtime, at the block's reading speed.
The rest of the script
Headings, text formatting, images and tables come through around the AV blocks.

Translation
Translators work scene by scene, with the visuals beside every line for context.

Storyboards export as a script table

When the words live in your frame fields rather than a script, export the storyboard to Word instead.

One row per frame
Numbered in board order, with your frame fields, such as Shot type, Voiceover and Action, as columns.
One total word count
Under the title, if the board shows a word count.
Formatting kept
Bold, italic, strikethrough, text colour, highlight and links come through.
